WWW

Before you think that I am writing about the network of computers which today has a stronghold on the internet world I have to reintroduce you to this term WWW. Its the 'Women's Water Wonders'. There could be a question of copyright on the the acronym but I'm sure the 33% reservation in every corner in our country will do the magic here too! So here we go... "Women's Water Wonders". The history of this term is not very old. Just about two days stale. It was coined by one of the crazy women who ventured out one fine evening and did the craziest things ever.              We crazy lot of women belong to Pune. I'm assuming Pune is a known city and I do not have to specify the geographical location of the place here. Nagaon is a place close to Alibaug. It obviously has a beach, considering it is on the western coast of Maharashtra. We left home early in the morning to reach from the former to the latter geographical location. Eyes dry, since none of us had

Royal Elegance

Image
Two royal horses Once trotted down a road Meandering along twisty lanes In nature’s palace they rode. The palace turned magnificent As they went further Its ceiling shone with brilliance So much for them to gather They came across a hill That seemed to send an invitation To its honoured guests at the foothill of its creation They galloped up the mountain            All vibrant and hearty Entered the majestic doorway To nature’s lavish party The birds came down tweeting A song to welcome their guest The crab and the toad Jumped about on the crest Nature lay a carpet All over its flooring Full of smiling flowers To zephyr’s tune dancing They ambled along the expanse Admiring the elegance Nothing could be more delightful Nature’s mysterious fragrance Heaven must have made A way to its entrance Through this gorgeous alley That fills one with reverence Hence two royal horses Stood pensive at the ridg

Disclaimer: The first paragraph of this write up may have excessive use of punctuations. Each of these are intended to add the sufficient and necessary expression for the situation. Kindly bear with the same.                              If you have ever been in the "working class" catagory of people you would know that in India the official working hours are 9am to 6.30pm, whereas the actual working hours are 2 pm to 8.30 pm. So you generally end up being in your workplace from 9 am to 8.30 pm which is incidently -The whole day!!! Fridays are generally kept 'flexible' so that you 'MAY' leave office by 6.30pm for a 'longer' weekend!!! This being the backdrop, lets take a ride of a crazy weekend of 8 such working class poeple. In interest of ease of writing, names will be replaced by initials. The 8 initials are -N-,-D-,-R-,-S-,-V-,-M-,-J-,-K-. Except -J- all others work for the same company.Story is being narrated by D.Here it goes...

Angelic Longing

I haven’t found it yet It’s nowhere close to me Well it has never been I’ve never found the key. Am I different? I wonder Why does it elude me? Oh I’m not wary of it I may confess I used to be. There are times, I look for it Frantically, you may say But the code remains a puzzle The lock is here to stay. How then should I unlock it? Will it come to me? As a brilliant surprise For everyone to see. Well, I shall wait for it Patience bears good fruit, they say Although, the chastity wanes Let the sun shine, I’ll make hay!

Late Mrs. PriC- Dated 2020!

The reason I have used the title Mrs. and not Miss is that Mrs.PriC is married. Ofcourse this conforms to the long set communication standards  all over the world. But Mrs. PriC is a different case. The human race is her better half. Mind you, it would be Mrs. PriC for the male human species and Mr. PriC for the female human species. In India though, Mrs.PriC is found more in number. But both Mr. and Mrs. PriC are on the verge of being extradited. Although I secretly wish to marry one Mr. PriC myself. I have already made a photo portfolio of him on my PC. Analysts all over the country say the major reason for their abandonment is inflation. But I say, where is the space to accomodate them???          Both PriC males and females come from various royal families. Mahindra & Mahindra, Jaguar, Honda being the most royal families. These are followed by the not-so-royal Maruti Suzuki and Tata(used to be royal but recently lost their royalty). It is observed in all these families t

Change from CHANGE!!!

Change is something that leaves behind a strong impact whether brought about suddenly or gradually. More often than not, man has not been able to cope with sudden changes as gracefully as he copes with the gradual ones. As it is very rightly said, 'if there is anything constant, it is change'. Thus, coping with change is and has always been one of the major drives in human life.               Back in the days of British rule, they brought about minor but crucial changes in our country's culture, systems, rules and attitude. This has given rise to a hollow, brittle India. Today most of us are ignorant about the country's intellectual wealth since we have lost the love for our own systems and languages. Our strength was our knowledge (our Vedas) which they destroyed over 150 years, imbibing into us love for English language, ways, systems and culture. We are still running behind it and guess what, we have coped gracefully enough to love it as if it was our

Abstract...-W

Abstract art forms have always puzzled me. Whenever I witness an abstract art form I wonder 'why should one complicate one's ideas while expressing them?'. After all, expression is a medium of putting forth your thoughts in an organised manner. I have seen abstract dance forms which guard veiled ideas or meanings. Abstract movies/plays are meticulously directed to offer the precise theme and message. Abstract paintings portray different meanings to different viewers. They have always disturbed me in terms of clarity and transparency. After speaking to some people who practice and master such art forms here is what I inferred: ABSTRACT When thoughts dig deep And form a heep When brain forms a clench Lest it should belch When words do not work Under fear they lurk When expression must be subtle Yet, the fervour should not shrivel Then, What rescues is the art What takes shape is Abstract .
