Technosphinx 2010...
Hi all! Its been weeks since I have written anything on my blog and it has become stagnant for now. One of the main reasons: Technosphinx 2010. An intercollege Technical event organised by our college ( Cummins College of Engineering) to be held on 27th March 2010.
Cummins College of Engineering has always had this intercollege technical event called 'Innovation' every alternate year. Ours was the unlucky batch which did not get the opportunity to organize Innovation in third year when most of the organisation is in your hands. Everyone was quite low because of that and we were just looking out for an opportunity to organize something this semester. That's when Apoorva came up with an idea that we could do something under the IEEE student branch of our college. Our IEEE student branch is quite passive as compared to other colleges. I won't deny that the passive state is partially a result of passive students. But this year was a revolution. We have a group of 20 who have the competence and are responsible enough to carry the whole event on their shoulders. So after a lot of grilling apoorva finally got the event sanctioned by our principal. We started working on the event on 2nd march. Yes, thats true. Other colleges are out for publicity one month before their event but ours is an exception because it is difficult to convince our professors. Anyway, we went through that difficult phase and now we are out with our publicity.Proud to present Technosphinx 2010. Here is the organising team:
Proud of our team girls! Good Going so far! Wishing all the best for the 27th. We will rock!
