Winter Halo- 22/10/10

Miracles are rare
I stand and stare
In a sky that is bare
On a full moon day!

No stars to adorn
No clouds it has worn
Oh why does it mourn?
On a full moon day…

But then up high
My eyes did fly
On the tallest sky
What a wonderful day!

The moon sat petite
Very proudly lit
A beaming grit
On its own birthday…

Enclosed in a ring
Under a protective wing
Of a big faint lining
On a pitch black bay.

Its engagingly crisp
It stunningly grips
Your eyes in a fix
A FULL MOON WITHIN AN ECLIPSE.

  7. hey, nice one, the last line is a bit confusing, the poem describes full moon day very nicely, but suddenly eclipse appeared. ( I feel that eclipse can also be highlighted in the earlier stanzas)
